Installation Tips

Jo-eBox

Use your imagination to produce a permanent asset to your home.

The "Jo-eBox" is made to fit exactly 2 bricks wide x 2 bricks deep x 11 standard 76mm bricks high to ensure that it looks aesthetically and architecturally correct as a rendered brick pillar.
If you prefer the "Jo-eBox" can also be built into a boundary wall or attached at the end of a wall accessible to the delivery man.
Use an Expansion substance to avoid cracks.) It would be advisable to use bolts or brick ties to connect the box to the wall so that the render between them does not crack and become unsightly.

Secure your "Jo-eBox" on a concrete base approximately 600W X 600D x 100 thick, on the boundary of your property accessible to the delivery man by using secure concrete bolts. Please ensure this base is level and firm because nothing looks worse than a pillar box which is not vertical due to a bad foundation. Also it is advantageous to have the slab a little above the ground to avoid floods, dirt,  mulch, grass and weeds, etc.

Many customers have successfully used a paving stone from their local landscaping suppliers even though it is not as thick as it should be to be perfect. See photo below of 600 x 600 x 40mm paving stones below.

The "Jo-eBox" can function as both a post box or parcel box but the Parcel Louvre should be convenient to the postman at a height of 900mm -1200mm from the ground.

If you intend receiving groceries it would probably be an advantage to pick a shady spot and use our insulation. The "Jo-eBox"can be painted to match your decor (best to choose the render finish and use a Dulux weathertex or similar)

Pad-eBox

Installation Parcel Box in Brick

The "Pad-eBox" is made to fit exactly 2 bricks wide x 11 standard 76mm bricks high to ensure that it looks aesthetically and architecturally correct in face brick, rendered walls or metal fences. Use your imagination to produce a permanent asset to your home.

(Use an Expansion substance to avoid cracks in brickwork and render walls.)

Create a gap in an aluminium, metal, or wooden fence .

Please note outer dimensions is 970H x 468W x 468D.

The envelope slot should be convenient to the postman at a height of 900mm -1200mm from the ground.

If you intend receiving groceries it would probably be an advantage to pick a shady spot. The "Pad-eBox" can be painted to match your decor (best to choose the render finish and use a Dulux weathertex or similar)

If there is a concrete pad on the ground under the box then the box can be bolted down. Otherwise some builders secure the box to the sides into the wall or fence.

Band-eBox

Below is the rear of the Band-eBox shown behind a fence or wall. The Front of the box can only be seen from the street.

The wall or fence needs to have a hole cut or built throught it to receive the top front of the Band_eBox. The aperture on the side facing the street is 470MM wide X 400mm High. When installed the Band-ebox front face must be as flush as possible to the front street facing side of the wall or fence. The stainless steel flange is fitted last using the special screws and covers supplied. The stainless steel flange will hide the aperture cut into the wall or fence.

The box is exactly 2 regular bricks wide. However the wall needs to be reduced in thickness just under the front of the box. This can be a little tricky for the builder because the brick thickness needs to be reduced to 30mm under the front of the box.

Some owners prefer the Band-eBox to be raised on a base by anything up to 200 - 250mm. (Or suspended.) This is a personal decision.

If there is a concrete pad on the ground under the box then the box can be bolted down. Otherwise some builders secure the box to the sides into the wall or fence.

The cut out aperture for the front face of the parcel box is 470MM wide X 400mm High. This cut out is hidden by the Stainless steel flangeThe Band-eBox above has been installed in a Foyer and cut through the glass window and it has been secured to the floor.
